TIPS FOR YOUR SPECIAL DAY
Exmouth is only a little town, but is very popular for weddings and with tourists. Confirming with your suppliers early is important to ensure you have the best team available for your special day.
BOOK YOUR SUPPLIERS
Confirm the date with your Celebrant, reception venue, accommodation providers, event stylists, photographers, videographers and cake decorators.
Pay your deposits to secure your reservations.
Book your salon appointments and allow an opportunity for a run through with hairdressers and make-up artists prior to your big day.
Confirm your transport with vehicle and bus providers.
Exmouth has a beautifully warm climate all year round, becoming very hot during the summer months. It's important to consider providing shade and water for your guests.
The cyclone season commences on 1 November and extends through to 1 May. Having a "Plan B" is a good idea to avoid disappointment on your special day.
In the event of "Yellow Alert" it may be necessary to reschedule the time to avoid risk to all parties.
BEACH VENUES AND NATIONAL PARK
If you're planning to be married at one of the beach locations, contact either the Shire of Exmouth or the Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPaW) to arrange your permit. Park fees are charged for entry into the Cape Range National Park.
Fees and Public Liability Insurance are required for some Shire locations, including Town Beach and the Vlamingh Head Lighthouse.
Bundegi is a popular beach located close to the Exmouth town centre. As this area is on Defence land and controlled by the Harold E. Holt Base, approval is required from the Department of Defence for events at this location.
